Megan Godfrey DipCABT RVN - Head Nurse

I joined Wood Street in May 2009 having completed a Foundation Degree in Veterinary Nursing. I have a keen interest in dog and cat behaviour and training and I am a Registered Companion Animal Behaviourist and Trainer with COAPE. I am a Clinical Coach responsible for overseeing the training of the Student Nurses.
My day to day jobs include working in theatre and overseeing the smooth running of the hospital and the nursing team.
I have 2 ex-breeding Selkirk Rex Cats (who have curly fur) and a Jack Russell Terrier who I enjoy agility training with.
Rachel Cook BSc (Hons) RVN A1 - Deputy Head Nurse
I joined the Wood Street team in 2006 after doing a BSc (Hons) degree in veterinary nursing at the RVC. I enjoy all areas of nursing especially theatre practice, anaesthesia and radiography.My main responsibilities at Wood Street are keeping the operating theatres in order and doing the daily drug order. I am also training to become an assessor. I have a cat called Ash who lives with my parents in Grimsby with my two 13 year old rabbits.

Michel Yakerson RVN - Deputy Head Nurse
I qualified as a veterinary nurse in November 2009 after being on a University placement at Wood Street.
I have a particular interest in nursing our diabetic patients and helping our clients with their diabetic pets. I am currently studying for a further qualification in Emergency and Critical Care

Georgina Skeggs BSc (Hons) RVN - Senior Nurse
I joined Wood Street in November 2007 after completing a degree in Animal Science and qualified in 2010. I also undertook some volunteer work with lion cubs in Africa before joining the team.I enjoy all aspects of my job especially medical nursing and working closely with our clients. I have a Yorkie called Charlie and 2 cats.
Rosanna Orrin RVN
I qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2005 and then worked in large charity hospitals until starting a family in 2007. I have worked at Wood Street since February 2009. I enjoy all aspects of nursing especially medical nursing and nurse clinics.

Claire Animashaun RVN
I joined Wood Street Veterinary Hospital in October 2010. I qualified in 2003 and I am also an assessor for the student nurses.
I enjoy all aspects of nursing but I particularly enjoy nursing clinics, theatre work and anaethesia.
Abigail Edis RVN
I qualified as a nurse in 2010 from the Royal Veterinary College, and moved down from Cambridgeshire soon after. I started working at Wood Street in March 2011. I enjoy the medical side of nursing and find it rewarding nursing emergency and intensive care patients. I am also interested in exotic and small furry medicine.
In my spare time I enjoy motorcycling, mountain biking, music, art and the outdoors. At home I have a 10 year old cat and an ever expanding herd of guinea pigs to keep me busy.
Leah Attwood RVN
I joined Wood Street in July 2011 after graduating from the University of Pretoria, South Africa with a Diploma in Veterinary Nursing. I have a particular interest in Wound Management, but I would like to gain further qualifications in Wildlife Management and Conservation.
I love being outside in the fresh air, so most of my spare time is spent outdoors, weather depending!
Caroline Ferarri RVN
I joined Wood Street Veterinary Hospital in August of 2011 after I qualified from the Royal Veterinary College with a Foundation Degree. I am currently undertaking my top up year at the RVC to gain a BSc degree. I particularly have an interest in nursing our feline patients and learning more about their medical conditions. I also enjoy theatre work and have an interest in diagnostic imaging.
In my spare time I am a reluctant gym member and enjoy playing the guitar. I also have two cats living at home with my mum in Yorkshire.

Hannah Jones Student VN
I started working at Wood Street in March 2010. I enjoy working in wards and caring for all of the patients whilst they stay with us. At home I have two guinea pigs called Cinnamon and Candy. I am also a bit mad about rabbits.
Karen Hagan Student VN
I joined the team at Wood Street in February 2010 after working in a small animal practice for a year.
I have a German Shepherd, 2 cats and a rabbit who keep me busy in my spare time.
Emily Brown Student VN 
I started working at Wood Street as a part time receptionist and I am now training to be a veterinary nurse.
I enjoy meeting all of our clients and their pets. I have lots of cats at home and a ferret called Marlene.

Rachel Bennett Student VN
I have worked at Wood Street since January 2011. I am very interested in reptiles and exotic pets and love learning about them.
I have a dog and two African Pygmy Hedgehogs living with my parents in Dublin.

Annette Green Student VN
I started working at Wood Street in June 2011. I have previously worked in a large orthopedic referral practice for a year, and prior to that I worked in a rehoming shelter. I have a Boxer dog, a gecko and some marine fish that keep me busy at home.

Connie Kolbohm Veterinary Care Assistant
I started working at Wood street in July 2011. I have completed a BSc degree in Veterinary Health Studies at Hartpury College. I am looking forward to lots of hands on care of the patients, and hope to go on to start my Veterinary Nurse training in the near future. I have a dog and a cat at home living with my parents in Ireland
