Welcome

Wood Street Veterinary Hospital is one of the longest established practices in the South East and one of only a handful of Approved Veterinary Hospitals in the London area.

We have highly dedicated and skilled staff to tend to any of your pet's needs. Staff members are on the premises 24-hours a day, 365-days a year to look after patients. Outside of normal opening hours, we provide an emergency service so that there is ALWAYS a vet and a nurse available to treat any eventuality.

LATEST NEWS -

Animal Ambulance

Our animal ambulance is available to collect you and your pet to bring you to the Hospital for appointments ( Monday - Friday). We are also able to deliver food and medication to your door.

Our prices are comparable with local taxi firms but you also have the added benefit of a knowledgeable, helpful veterinary nurse to assist you.

We are able to travel within a 5 mile radius of the practice but please call one of our helpful receptionists who will be able to give more information.

Food and medication orders over £60.00 are eligible for free delivery.

Current Vacancies - Qualified Veterinary Nurse

Wood Street Veterinary Hospital are recruiting for a qualified veterinary nurse to join our team of nurses.

We are a busy Tier 3 veterinary hospital with a wide variety of cases, equipment and procedures including laparoscopy. The role involves lots of hands on nursing and training of student nurses so A1 qualification is highly desirable. Duties are rotated so you will spend time in all areas of the hospital. Weekends and nights are shared on a rota basis.

Involvement with nurse clinics and puppy parties is strongly encouraged. We also work very closely with the local RSPCA centre.  Competitive salary depending on experience plus generous cpd allowance.
